Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician to oversee and mentor a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects. You will lead, train, and evaluate performance while ensuring work meets high quality standards and NEC/local codes.

The role involves reading blueprints, preparing material lists, and coordinating with supervision to develop manpower schedules. Strong leadership and field problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial and/or industrial environments.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach teams of roughly five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Thorough understanding of a small, assigned scope of work and ability to read project documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Work alongside their crew and ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
• Assist in development of an effective manpower schedule for their team.
• Develop material lists from layouts, area prints, and job site demands and communicate lists to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by understanding what needs to be done and communicating that to the team.
• Ensure all work by crew complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit and related components.
• Install and terminate devices, fixtures, panels, and feeders.
• Demonstrate circuitry knowledge and read blueprints/schematics.
