Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Journeymen, Helpers and Apprentices on commercial/industrial electrical projects. The role requires guiding installation, alteration and repair work while ensuring quality and adherence to NEC standards.

The Foreman will develop schedules, review blueprints and specifications, and coordinate material lists with supervision. Strong leadership, blueprint literacy and on-site problem solving are essential for success.

Qualifications

Demonstrates leadership abilities with the capability and desire to grow in this area.
Able to lead, mentor and coach teams of roughly five helpers, apprentices and journeyman electricians.
Shows an aptitude for reading and understanding blueprints and contract-related documents on site.
Ability to read project specifications, blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
Work alongside the crew and ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
Assist in developing an effective manpower schedule for the team.
Develop material lists from layouts and job site demands and communicate lists to supervision.
Help achieve production and budget goals by understanding what needs to be done and communicating that to the team.
Ensure all crew work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
Independently measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit.
