Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial/industrial electrical projects. You will supervise Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers, ensuring high-quality workmanship and safety on site.

The role requires developing schedules, coordinating material lists, and communicating needs to supervision to hit production and budget goals. Applicants should demonstrate strong blueprint literacy, NEC knowledge, and the ability to read project specs while mentoring a team

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial or industrial settings.
• Proven leadership capable of mentoring and coaching a small team.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and schematics.
• Effective communication with other trades and trade supervisors.
• Ability to develop manpower schedules for the crew.
• Basic budgeting awareness and ability to help meet production goals.
• Proficient with tools and safety practices; able to work overtime including weekends.
• Familiarity with BlueBeam and Navisworks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality work and adherence to high standards.
• Develop material lists from layouts and job-site demands.
• Communicate needs to supervision to support production and budgets.
• Inspect work to ensure compliance with NEC and local codes.
• Read project specs, blueprints and schematics.
• Lay out work from drawings including underground layouts.
• Size wires, conduits and junction boxes correctly.
• Troubleshoot lighting and power circuits.
