Job summary

Amteck seeks a Foreman Electrician in the United States with 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments. You will lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians, mentoring them to meet high-quality standards and project timelines.

You will read blueprints, develop material lists, coordinate with supervision, and ensure NEC compliance while managing schedules and overtime as required.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach a five-person crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and contract-related documents.
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Develop material lists from layouts and job site demands and communicate to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by communicating needs to the team.
• Ensure all work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panels and feeders.
• Read project specs, blueprints and schematics.
• Lay out small areas from drawings, including underground layouts.
• Determine wire, conduit and junction box sizes.
• Troubleshoot lighting and general power circuits.
