Job summary

Comfort Systems USA seeks an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial and industrial projects. You will supervise Journeyman, Apprentices, and Helpers, ensuring work meets high-quality standards and safety requirements on site.

You will read blueprints and specifications, lay out work, order materials, and coordinate with supervision to maintain schedules and budgets while mentoring your team to develop their skills.

Qualifications

• Leadership abilities; capable of guiding a crew on a project site.
• Ability to mentor and coach a team of five helpers/apprentices/journeymen.
• Strong communication with other trades and supervision to coordinate work.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Work with crew to ensure high quality of work.
• Develop manpower schedule for the team.
• Develop material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals with clear direction to the team.
• Ensure work complies with local codes and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, install conduit and terminate electrical devices.
• Read and understand project specs, blueprints and schematics.
• Layout small areas from drawings and project documents.
