Job summary

Comfort Systems USA seeks a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects. You will oversee installation, alteration, and repair of electrical systems while training and evaluating your crew to meet top standards.

You will read blueprints, understand project specs, and develop effective work plans, staying within NEC guidelines and coordinating with other trades on-site.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach a crew of roughly five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints and project specifications.
• Aptitude for learning to read contract-related documents and coordinating with other trades.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure work quality meets high standards and safety requirements.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and communicate them to supervision.
• Manage on-site layout, conduit sizing, and basic troubleshooting of circuits.
