Job summary

Stantec in Portland, OR seeks a licensed Electrical Engineer to lead the design and execution of water and wastewater projects. You will be Engineer-of-Record, specifying electrical systems, performing design calculations, and coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Professional Engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems for water/wastewater facilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as Engineer-of-Record for projects with varying complexity.
• Lead design development through sketches, diagrams, and 3D models.
• Prepare design calculations and construction documents.
• Manage project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with clients and contractors.
