Job summary
Stantec is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design and engineering of water and wastewater projects. You will serve as Engineer-of-Record, size and specify electrical systems, develop designs, and coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
The role requires licensure as a Professional Engineer and 7–8 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit or Bentley tools. Travel and collaboration across multiple offices are expected.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
- Licensed Professional Engineer with 7–8 years of experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and building codes required.
Responsibilities
- Act as Engineer-of-Record for projects and components.
- Lead design through sketches, models and drawings.
- Develop 3D models of electrical systems and prepare specs.
- Coordinate project teams and client meetings.
- Manage project scope, budget, staffing and schedule.
- Oversee construction phase services and RFIs.
