Job summary

Stantec is seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer to lead the design and engineering of water and wastewater projects. You will act as Engineer-of-Record, size and specify electrical systems, and guide a team through design and construction packages.

Field checks, cost estimates, and client coordination are part of the role. Ideal candidates have a PE license and 7–8 years of experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD/Bentley tools and power system software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and building codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as Engineer-of-Record for projects of varying complexity.
• Evaluate, specify, and engineer electrical systems for a project.
• Lead design development through sketches, models, diagrams.
• Develop 3D models of electrical systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
