Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a Lead Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer to supervise a team of engineers and designers, delivering electrical and instrumentation deliverables on time and within budget. The role emphasizes technical leadership, cost control, and quality assurance across complex projects.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of industrial experience, a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, and PE registration is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.
• 15+ years of relevant industrial experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and approving all electrical deliverables.
• Estimating professional services and tracking changes.
• Developing conceptual layouts and cost studies for projects.
• Leading a team of engineers and designers to deliver on scope, schedule, and budget.
• Producing bid packages for procurement and subcontract pricing.
• Ensuring compliance with NEC and design standards.
• Mentoring staff and contributing to professional development.
