Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors seeks a Lead Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to supervise a team delivering complex electrical and instrumentation projects. You will ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality outcomes, acting as a technical specialist across multiple disciplines and coordinating with clients and vendors.

The role requires extensive experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering, design criteria development, and proficiency with CAD tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Registration: Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide technical direction to engineers and designers.
• Deliver electrical and instrumentation deliverables on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Review and approve electrical deliverables and estimates; track changes during project.
• Develop design criteria, communicate with client requirements, and ensure permitting requirements are met.
• Plan and organize work, monitor budgets, schedules, and quality; lead change notices when scope changes occur.
• Create detailed electrical installation drawings, specs, and equipment lists; coordinate with vendors and other disciplines.
