Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to lead the electrical discipline across multiple projects, from pursuit through construction. You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with teams, and ensure conformance with NFPA/NEC/IEEE standards while applying tools like AutoCAD and Revit.

The role involves site travel for surveys, data collection, and client collaboration, with a location-flexible arrangement within the Places global business area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• EIT certification and working toward PE certification.
• 4+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Knowledge of national codes and OSHA as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams to produce construction-ready drawing packages with inter-discipline coordination.
• Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with design teams and clients.
• Travel to project sites for surveys, data collection, and coordination with client teams.
• Apply knowledge of NFPA, NEC, NETA, ANSI, IEEE, UL, UFC, UBC and IEC/CE/EN standards.
• Utilize design and modeling software (AutoCAD, Revit, Elum Tools, BIM360, SKM, Etap, EDSA, Easy Power).
• Provide mentoring to junior staff and support proposals to win design work.
