Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to lead the electrical discipline across multiple concurrent projects within the Places global business area. The role involves pursuit, design, and construction phases as the engineer of record, coordinating with project teams, engineers, managers, and clients on a range of facilities and infrastructure projects.

Geographical location is negotiable; candidates should demonstrate broad capabilities and strong mentoring skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering.
Engineer in Training (EIT) certification and working toward PE license.
May be pursuing an advanced degree (M.Eng., MS, MBA).
4+ years’ relevant engineering experience.
Strong knowledge of national standards and codes of practice.
OSHA training preferred in some Business Lines.

Responsibilities

Lead design teams to develop construction-ready drawings with inter-discipline coordination.
Develop strong relationships with other design professionals.
Travel to project sites for surveys and data collection for power system studies.
Apply knowledge of NFPA, NEC, NETA, ANSI, IEEE, UL, UFC, UBC and IEC/CE/EN standards.
Provide mentoring to junior staff and support proposal efforts.
