Job summary

Arcadis seeks an experienced electrical engineer to lead the electrical discipline across multiple projects from pursuit to construction. You will act as engineer of record, coordinating with teams, clients and suppliers on diverse facilities including manufacturing sites, water facilities, data centers and retail environments.

The role requires leading design teams, maintaining standards, and mentoring junior staff while traveling to project sites for surveys and power studies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Hold EIT Certification and working towards PE.
• May pursue an advanced degree (M.Eng., MS, MBA).
• 4+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of national codes and standards.
• OSHA training is preferred in some lines.

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams to develop construction-ready drawings with inter-discipline coordination.
• Develop industry relationships with design professionals.
• Travel for site surveys and data collection for power studies.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA/NEC/IEEE/UL/IEC standards, etc.
• Model using AutoCAD, Revit and BIM tools for deliverables.
• Mentor junior staff and support proposal efforts.
• Prepare sealed drawings with designers and review documentation.
