Job summary

Arcadis seeks an experienced electrical engineer to lead the electrical discipline across multiple projects, acting as the engineer of record and coordinating with teams, managers and clients on facilities, infrastructure and data centers.

You will travel to sites, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliance with NFPA, NEC, IEEE and international standards, using AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, Etap and other tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an engineering field.
• Hold EIT Certification and actively pursue PE Certification.
• May be pursuing an advanced degree (M.Eng., MS, MBA, etc.).
• 4+ years’ relevant engineering experience.
• Detailed knowledge of national standards and codes of practice.
• OSHA training preferred where required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams to develop construction-ready drawings with inter-discipline coordination.
• Develop relationships with design professionals and clients.
• Travel to project sites for surveys and data collection for power studies.
• Perform system studies: arc flash, load, short circuit, coordination.
• Support proposals to win design work and mentor junior staff.
