Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer in the Northeast Buildings group, with responsibility to lead a team through all project phases and deliver electrical systems for healthcare, commercial, education, and lab facilities. The role requires strong design leadership, client interaction, and coordination with other disciplines.

Minimum 15 years in related field preferred, PE license, LEED credentials, and advanced knowledge of power distribution, lighting, and low voltage systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering with emphasis on electrical
• Professional Engineering license required
• LEED Green Associate or LEED AP preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects with a team of designers to develop full documentation for new construction and renovation projects
• Provide supervision to staff to develop skills and career goals
• Lead client meetings to establish design criteria and support construction administration
