Job summary
Stantec’s Buildings team invites a Lead Electrical Engineer to drive technical leadership on high‑complexity projects. You will guide engineers and designers through all lifecycle phases, ensure integrated electrical design across healthcare, commercial, education, and industrial facilities, and lead coordination with owners and contractors.

Qualifications
- Bachelors' degree or equivalent in Electrical or Architectural Engineering with a lighting/electrical emphasis required.
- Professional Engineering license required.
- LEED Green Associate or LEED AP preferred.
- Minimum 15 years in related professional experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Leads work on multiple projects with a team of design colleagues to conceptualize and develop full documentation for new construction and renovation projects.
- Provides supervision to staff to develop skills and career goals.
- Leads in client meetings to establish design criteria and review progress through construction administration.
- Leads the development of electrical engineered systems and coordination of project specifications.
