Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer in the Northeast Engineering group with the Cleveland option. You will lead electrical design on complex projects, supervise engineers and designers, and engage with clients to set design criteria.

The role requires a PE license and strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting, and low voltage systems. Revit/AutoCAD proficiency is essential; LEED credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering with licensure.
• Professional Engineer license required; LEED preferred.
• Experience leading electrical design on healthcare, laboratories or industrial facilities is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design on high-complexity projects from concept through documentation.
• Mentor and supervise staff; lead client meetings to establish design criteria.
• Coordinate electrical systems, specifications, and construction documents.
• Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA, IBC and energy codes; develop design standards.
