Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with a healthcare focus to lead electrical design for health facilities and complex projects. You will apply electrical engineering principles, deliver quality control, forecast workloads, manage budgets, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in project management and electrical engineering within the health sector
• Strong knowledge of healthcare codes, regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams
• Experience delivering electrical building designs to Architects and Owners in healthcare and non-healthcare markets
• Fundamental understanding of OSHPD requirements and California Building Codes

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of healthcare projects within time, scope, and budget
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables with stakeholders
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations
• Collaborate with project leaders, architects, contractors, and stakeholders to define objectives and success metrics
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in delivery processes
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, quality standards, and standards across projects
