Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Project Manager for the Strategic Program Consulting team in the Power Delivery Solutions division in Central Ohio. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver capital transmission/substation projects for a large electric utility client, with travel as needed.

You will own cost, schedule, and scope, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, and mentor junior staff. The role offers flexible work arrangements and opportunities for professional development within Leidos.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive Project Management experience.
• Experience in Electric Utility Industry required; PM experience at an electric utility preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to travel periodically.

Responsibilities

• Lead electric utility project execution teams across Engineering, Construction, Permitting, Siting, Environmental, Cost Controls and Scheduling.
• Own project performance including cost, schedule and scope for concurrent projects.
• Interface with clients and stakeholders to report progress and mitigate risks.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Mentor junior project managers and controls staff.
• Manage monthly client invoicing, accruals and accounts receivable for projects.
