Job summary
Leidos is seeking experienced Project Managers to join our Strategic Program Consulting team within the Power Delivery Solutions division. You will lead electric utility project execution and manage a diverse team across engineering and construction for capital transmission/substation projects in the Kentucky area, with periodic travel to client sites.
Responsibilities include ownership of cost, schedule and scope, client interfacing, and mentoring staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
- 4+ years of progressive project management experience in electric utilities preferred.
- Experience with US electric utilities and power projects required.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project and strong Excel skills.
- Ability to travel periodically to client sites as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead electric utility project execution teams to deliver substation projects.
- Own portfolio performance including cost, schedule, and scope management.
- Interface with clients and stakeholders to report progress and mitigate risks.
- Mentor and develop project management staff and foster collaboration.
- Manage monthly invoicing, accruals, and accounts receivable processes.
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities.
