Job summary

Leidos Engineering is seeking experienced Project Managers to join our Strategic Program Consulting team within the Power Delivery Solutions division. You will collaborate with engineering and account managers to provide project management services for a major electric utility client, handling Capital Transmission/Substation initiatives in Kentucky area including Louisville, Lexington, and Cincinnati.

Qualifications

4+ years of progressive Project Management experience in the Electric Utility Industry
Experience as a Project Manager directly at an electric utility preferred
Demonstrated experience with US Electric Utilities and understanding of electric power infrastructure
Proficiency with Primavera P6 or MS Project and strong Excel skills

Responsibilities

Lead electric utility project execution teams with diverse contributors to deliver capital transmission substation projects
Own portfolio performance including cost, schedule, and scope management
Interface with clients and stakeholders to report progress and mitigate risks
Mentor and develop project management staff
Manage monthly client invoicing, accruals, and accounts receivable processes
Identify and pursue business development opportunities to support growth
Ensure contract compliance and quality control standards
Maintain regular communication with stakeholders across project teams
Identify project risks and mitigation strategies
