Job summary

Leidos Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Strategic Program Consulting team within Power Delivery Solutions. You will lead electric utility project execution teams across a portfolio of capital transmission and substation projects in Central Ohio, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and high client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or related field.
8+ years of progressive Project Management experience.
Experience in Electric Utilities and at electric utilities preferred.
Understanding of electric power infrastructure projects.
Supervisory experience including team building and talent acquisition.
Strong leadership with portfolio management focus and team development.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to travel periodically.

Responsibilities

Lead electric utility project execution teams across engineering, permitting, scheduling, and cost controls to deliver capital projects.
Own project performance: cost, schedule, and scope for multiple concurrent projects.
Interface with clients and stakeholders to report progress and mitigate risks.
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
Mentor and guide junior project managers and controls staff.
Manage monthly client invoicing, accruals, and accounts receivable for projects.
Ensure compliance with contracts, scope documents, and quality standards.
