Job summary

Leidos Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Strategic Program Consulting team in Power Delivery Solutions. You will lead project execution for electric utility clients, coordinating across engineering, construction, permitting, siting, environmental, cost controls and scheduling teams.

The role offers remote capabilities with periodic travel to Kentucky area (Louisville/Lexington).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or related field.
4+ years of progressive PM experience in Electric Utility Industry; PM experience at an electric utility preferred.
Experience with US Electric Utilities and understanding of power infrastructure.
Proficiency with Primavera P6 or MS Project; strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Lead electric utility project execution teams to deliver capital transmission/substation projects.
Take ownership of portfolio performance: cost, schedule, and scope management.
Interface with clients and stakeholders to address issues, report progress, and mitigate risks.
Mentor and develop project management staff, promoting collaboration and continuous learning.
Manage monthly client invoicing, accruals, and accounts receivable processes.
Identify and pursue business development opportunities to support organizational growth.
Ensure compliance with contract requirements and quality control standards.
