Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Strategic Program Consulting team within our Power Delivery Solutions division. You will lead cross-functional teams and drive project execution for large electric utility capital programs in Central Ohio.

Responsibilities include cost/schedule/scope ownership, client interfaces, risk management, and mentoring junior staff. Occasional travel within the region is required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in engineering, construction management, business, finance or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive project management experience.
• Experience in electric utility industry preferred; PM at an electric utility preferred.
• Strong understanding of electric power infrastructure and utilities projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead electric utility project execution teams with diverse contributors to deliver capital projects.
• Own project performance including cost, schedule and scope for concurrent projects.
• Interface with clients and internal stakeholders to address issues and mitigate risks.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Mentor and guide junior project managers and project controls staff.
