Job summary
CVS Health Digital is hiring a Lead Director - Digital Engineering to own the strategy, modernization, delivery, and operation of customer identity platforms. You will oversee auth services, profile management, and identity integrations serving millions of CVS customers across Health100, Caremark, and Retail.
You will partner with Product, Security, Architecture, and Business teams to drive modernization, security, and operational excellence, building high-performing teams and delivering
Qualifications
- 10+ years in software/platform engineering or related tech
- 7+ years leading engineering managers and senior leaders
- 5+ years driving cloud-native transformations and API-first architectures
- Strong CIAM, authentication, profile services and security knowledge
- Proven budgets, vendor management and strategic tech investments
- Experience delivering scalable, high-availability platforms
Responsibilities
- Lead multi-team engineering org for authentication, profile management and platform ops
- Drive scalable, cloud-native architecture with secure customer experiences
- Oversee modernization efforts and AI-driven productivity initiatives
- Define risk management and cross-workstream dependencies
- Report program status to stakeholders and leadership
- Align business, product and tech partners on delivery roadmap
- Measurably improve availability, security and operational excellence
