CVS Health Digital is seeking a Lead Director – Digital Engineering to own the strategy, modernization, delivery, and operation of customer identity platforms serving millions of users across Health100, Caremark, Specialty, Retail, and Health Services. You will lead a multi-team organization focused on authentication, profile services, and secure identity integrations.

The role emphasizes cloud-native architectures, AI-enabled transformation, risk management, and executive stakeholder alignment

Qualifications

10+ years in Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, Identity & Access Management, or related tech.
7+ years leading engineering managers and senior managers; defining tech strategy and multi-year modernization.
5+ years of cloud-native transformation, API-first architectures, and platform practices.
Strong CIAM, authentication/authorization, profile services, and security principles.
Experience managing budgets, vendor partnerships, and workforce planning.

Responsibilities

Lead multi-team engineering org responsible for authentication services, profile management, identity integrations, and platform operations.
Drive scalable, cloud-native, API-first identity capabilities with secure, seamless user experiences.
Oversee AI-enabled transformations and execution strategies.
Identify and manage risks and cross-workstream dependencies; maintain program plans and stakeholder reporting.
Define and track metrics and KPIs to measure business outcomes for the identity portfolio.
Build relationships with Product, Security, Architecture, and Business partners to support the delivery roadmap.
