Job summary

CVS Health Digital is seeking a Lead Director - Digital Engineering to own strategy, modernization, delivery, and operation of customer identity platforms across CVS Health's ecosystem. You will partner with Product, Security, Architecture and Business teams to advance modernization, strengthen security, and deliver identity solutions that enable enterprise growth and superior customer experiences.

Qualifications

The candidate must have 10+ years in software/identity domains and 7+ years in people leadership.
+ years of defining technology strategies, roadmaps and modernization initiatives.
5+ years of cloud-native, API-first platform engineering experience.
Strong CIAM, authentication, authorization and identity security knowledge.
Experience with budgets, vendors, workforce planning and technology investment decisions.
Proven record delivering scalable, highly available platforms with security and operational excellence.
Experience using AI and automation to improve productivity and user experience.

Responsibilities

Lead multi-team engineering org for authentication services, profile management and identity integrations.
Shape scalable cloud-native architecture and secure customer experiences.
Drive modernization and API-first strategies with measurable outcomes.
Manage risks, dependencies and program-level communications to stakeholders.
Develop and maintain relationships with Product, Security and Technology partners.
Oversee budget, vendor partnerships and workforce planning.
Foster high-performing teams and leadership pipelines.
