Job summary

CVS Health Digital is hiring a Lead Director - Digital Engineering focused on Customer Identity. You will lead multiple engineering teams delivering authentication, profile management, and identity integrations while driving modernization, security, and operational excellence at scale.

You will partner with Product, Security, Architecture, and Business teams to shape strategy, measure KPIs, and ensure reliable customer experiences across Health100, Caremark, Specialty, Retail, and Digital

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, Identity & Access Management, or related technology disciplines.
• 7+ years of people leadership experience
• Experience defining and executing technology strategy, roadmaps, and multi-year modernization initiatives
• 5+ years of cloud-native transformation, API-first architectures, and platform engineering practices
• Strong understanding of CIAM, authentication, authorization, and identity security principles
• Experience managing budgets, vendor partnerships, workforce planning, and technology investment decisions
• Proven track record delivering scalable, customer-facing platforms with reliability and security
• Experience using AI and automation to improve engineering productivity and customer experience

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-team engineering organization responsible for authentication services, profile management, identity integrations, and platform operations
• Drive cloud-native, API-first architecture and secure, scalable customer experiences
• Oversee modernization, security, and operational Excellence across identity platforms
• Manage risk, dependencies, and stakeholder communications
• Build strong relationships with Product, Security, Architecture, and Business teams
