Job summary
RTX is seeking an Electrical Subsystems Digital Senior Principal Engineer to lead digital design efforts for guidance systems. You will oversee the early development lifecycle, coordinate with multiple teams, and ensure successful architecture and integration of digital subsystems.
The role requires a STEM degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience, with possible travel. A DoD Secret clearance is required to start.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) required.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in digital, analog, or power electronics design and integration.
- Experience in decomposing high-level requirements into actionable design and subsystem architecture.
- Experience with digital sub-systems, systems engineering, and CCA design.
Responsibilities
- Lead digital design efforts for development guidance systems with FPGA focus.
- Oversee program execution including cost, schedule, and technical oversight.
- Support component-level design reviews and integration activities.
- Mentor teammates and collaborate with functional and program management.
- Interact with customers and suppliers; travel ~25% as needed.
