RTX is seeking an Electrical Subsystems Digital Senior Principal Engineer in Tucson to lead FPGA-centered digital design for development guidance systems. You will drive architectural decisions, decompose requirements, and oversee early lifecycle execution with CAM/EV emphasis.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in digital subsystems, undergo rigorous reviews, and mentor teams while collaborating with customers and suppliers across programs in a DoD context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) is required.
• Minimum ten years of relevant experience in digital/analog design, subsystems, and integration.
• Experience in decomposition of requirements into actionable design and subsystem architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital design efforts for development guidance systems and FPGA-based subsystems.
• Oversee program execution, including cost, schedule and technical oversight.
• Support component-level design reviews and system integration activities.
• Mentor teammates and collaborate with customers, suppliers, and program management.
