Job summary

Andersen is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to modernize CI/CD and build a cloud-based software quality platform with public API exposure. You will own release processes, implement automated deployments, and drive security gates across 111 repositories.

You will work closely with development teams, lead a DevOps group, and enable zero-downtime migrations on AWS ECS Fargate. This role blends operations with client-facing product support and strategic automation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on AWS experience, DevOps/Platform engineering focus.
• Experience with ECS/Fargate, including deployment strategies and live migrations.
• Strong release engineering and production change experience, with zero-downtime deployments.
• Extensive GitHub Actions, reusable workflows, and IAM/OIDC integration.
• Terraform/CloudFormation IaC within established architectures.
• Experience with observability platforms (New Relic, Datadog, Grafana).
• Experience integrating Snyk and SonarQube in CI/CD pipelines.
• OpenAPI tooling and docs-as-code pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain public API documentation pipeline (OpenAPI aggregation, validation, publishing).
• Integrate docs pipelines into GitHub Actions reusable workflows.
• Implement public status page with uptime monitoring via New Relic Synthetics.
• Manage monitoring as code with Terraform.
• Support live production changes and migrations on AWS ECS Fargate with minimal downtime.
• Own release engineering for client-facing deliverables and safe deployment strategies.
• Migrate CircleCI to GitHub Actions across repositories using reusable templates.
• Embed security/quality gates (Snyk, SonarQube) into CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead DevOps team in collaboration with development groups.
• Deliver and support client-facing products, not purely internal infra.
• Own tasks end-to-end from problem definition to production release.
