Job description

We’re looking for a hands‑on Lead DevOps Engineer to architect, build, and operate our AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This role combines technical leadership with deep individual contribution, requiring someone who leads by example while actively designing, implementing, and improving DevOps capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Ownership
  • Act as a hands‑on technical resource, setting the bar for DevOps engineering excellence
  • Mentor and guide DevOps engineers through design reviews, automation standards, and operational best practices
  • Define and enforce DevOps standards, patterns, and tooling across teams
  • Partner with application, QA, and architecture teams to align DevOps strategy with business and delivery goals
AWS Infrastructure & Automation
  • Design, implement, and operate scalable, secure, and resilient AWS infrastructure
  • Own Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or AWS‑native services
  • Automate environment provisioning, deployments, and operational workflows
Containers & Platform Engineering
  • Design and support containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)
  • Enable best practices for microservices deployment, scaling, and resilience on AWS
  • Support platform capabilities such as blue/green and canary deployments
Monitoring, Reliability & Operations
  • Implement proactive monitoring, alerting, and dashboards using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and CloudWatch
  • Own logging and observability solutions (e.g., OpenTelemetry, Splunk)
  • Lead root cause analysis, incident response, and continuous reliability improvements
  • Participate in and help mature on‑call and operational support processes
Security, Compliance & Cost Optimization
  • Enforce AWS security best practices, including IAM design, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning
  • Well experienced with all kinds of scanning (SCA, DAST, SAST, WIZ.IO)
  • Drive AWS cost optimization through right‑sizing, automation, and cost‑management tooling
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering with strong hands‑on delivery
  • Proven experience leading or acting as a technical lead for DevOps or SRE teams
  • Deep expertise with AWS services and cloud architecture patterns
  • Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
  • Solid background building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and Git‑based workflows
  • Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across engineering teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • AWS certifications (DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect, or equivalent)
  • Experience with GitOps tools such as Argo CD, Gitlab
  • Familiarity with micro‑services and advanced Kubernetes networking
  • Experience operating production systems at scale with a focus on reliability and cost efficiency
