Job summary

insightsoftware in the United States seeks a Senior DevOps leader to guide the infrastructure, CI/CD, and reliability of our SaaS products on AWS and Azure. You will grow the team, shape the platform’s technical direction, and stay close to the work to make solid decisions.

You will partner daily with Product, Engineering, and Security, own the cloud environment’s reliability and cost, and drive ITIL-aligned service management, incident response, and FinOps to optimize spend while maintaining

Qualifications

10+ years in infrastructure, systems, or DevOps, with 4+ years leading teams.
Hands-on production in AWS and Azure, including VPC/VNet, DNS, IAM.
IaC expertise with Terraform; CloudFormation or Bicep a plus; config mgmt tools.
Proven CI/CD ownership at scale with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
Scripting in Python (or Bash/PowerShell/Ruby) for automation.
Experience with high availability, disaster recovery, and cloud backup.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and grow a DevOps team; hiring, development, performance.
Own reliability, performance, and cost of AWS/Azure production environments.
Translate roadmap goals into infra and deployment plans with leadership.
Set technical direction for CI/CD, IaC, observability, and incident response.
Mature ITIL-aligned service management: on-call, change management, post-incident reviews.
Partner with Security to embed compliance requirements (SOC 2, SOX, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
Own FinOps: monitor spend, cost efficiency, forecast cloud costs.
