Job summary

Ad Hoc LLC is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to help modernize government-facing services. You will lead cloud infrastructure design, CI/CD pipelines, and tooling optimization across teams, aligning delivery with security and performance requirements.

You will apply expert Terraform/Terragrunt, GitHub Actions, Argo CD, and AWS/EKS expertise while mentoring teammates and contributing to program strategy in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent.
• Expert-level knowledge in Terraform/Terragrunt, GitHub Actions, and Argo CD.
• Experience with AWS Cloud Services including EKS/Kubernetes and HAProxy/OpenResty.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate and simplify DevOps tools and services across teams.
• Mentor engineers and lead small projects with minimal oversight.
• Design self-contained cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Build test and deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD.
• Ensure security, SLA, and performance requirements are met with partners.
