Job summary

DataStaff, Inc. seeks a Desktop Support Specialist for a long-term contract onsite in Raleigh, NC. The role supports a high volume of service desk requests, hardware installs, and customer software support, with travel as needed.

The candidate will install, image, and configure computers and printers, migrate data, and collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in desktop support or field support.
• Experience imaging and deploying computers and software.
• Experience installing local and network printers and peripherals.
• Experience migrating user profiles and data.
• Proficient in documenting processes and procedures.
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow call tracking system.

Responsibilities

• Promote positive customer relationships and mentor others.
• Owns customer problems and resolves incidents with urgency.
• Communicate progress status to customers and team.
• Provide updates to Support Specialists and Service Desk.
• Serve as a technical resource and troubleshoot complex problems.
• Coordinate with IT teams on application and network issues.
