Gray Construction is seeking a Site Manager (Data Centers) to lead field operations for hyperscale data center projects in the United States. The role requires directing day-to-day activities from mobilization through commissioning, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence across complex sites.

You will mentor on-site teams, coordinate subcontractors, review drawings and budgets with PM, and travel to multiple project sites nationwide as needed.

Formación

• Industrial construction experience (5+ years)
• Data center/mission-critical project exposure
• On-site leadership and team management
• Scheduling and coordination
• Safety compliance and risk management
• Reading and interpreting architectural/engineering drawings
• Willingness to travel for nationwide projects

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day field operations for complex, mission-critical data center construction projects.
• Oversee construction activities from site mobilization through final turnover and commissioning.
• Own the field activities: safety, quality, schedule, planning, logistics, on-site team leadership, subcontractor coordination.
• Maintain and update a 2-3 week lookahead schedule; provide real-time data to PM/Scheduler.
• Ensure site safety compliance; stop work when violations occur and counsel subs/team members.
• Lead meetings to coordinate subcontractor activities and maintain project alignment with schedule.
• Mentor and develop subordinates; establish a safe, professional jobsite culture.
• Review drawings and contract documents; coordinate changes; manage budgets with PM.
• Assist in subcontractor procurement, pre-award meetings, and closeout procedures.
• Travel to project sites nationwide; coordinate buyout and procurement on schedule.
