Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking an Assistant MEP Site Manager (Data Centers) to join the Field Operations Team and help build hyperscale facilities across North America. The role is field/project based and involves coordinating MEP subcontractors, reviewing drawings, and ensuring safety and quality on site.

You will support scheduling, procurement, and cost control while working with Procore, Bluebeam, and other project controls tools. Travel to project sites in the U.S. is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with related experience (5+ years).
• Experience in industrial construction; data centers or mission-critical preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical/ electrical systems and distribution, cooling, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Study specifications to assist planning and staffing for each phase.
• Support in locating and evaluating subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Develop scopes of work for review by senior MEP leads.
• Assist in MEP project scheduling and estimating; coordinate trades during build.
• Solicit prices and assist in selection of bidders, pricing negotiation.
• Help prepare reports like cost-to-complete and monthly billings.
• Review drawings and coordinate field workflow to maintain current set.
• Assist in change orders and ensure customer satisfaction on projects.
• Ensure safety and quality standards per QMS on site.
