Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking a Site Manager (Data Centers) to lead field operations on complex data center projects. This field/project based role requires driving safety, schedule adherence, quality control, and on-site coordination from mobilization through commissioning.

You will mentor the on-site team, collaborate with PMs and subcontractors, and ensure the project meets budget and customer expectations while upholding Gray’s safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial construction experience, with data center or mission-critical experience strongly preferred.
• Must have a minimum of 10+ years related construction experience.
• Proven experience leading large-scale, complex construction projects from mobilization through commissioning and turnover.
• Strong understanding of mission-critical construction environments and the importance of schedule, quality, and safety.
• Must possess the ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, financial reports, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations for complex, mission-critical data center construction projects.
• Oversee construction activities from site mobilization through final turnover and commissioning.
• Take ownership of all field activities including safety, quality, schedule, planning, logistics, and on-site subcontractor coordination.
• Maintain and track the project schedule; provide real-time data to PM/Scheduler for schedule updates.
• Lead, coach and train on-site teams and ensure alignment with Gray policies and project goals.
