Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is the leading destination for creativity, with stores across the United States and Canada. The Retail Framing Manager role in Rapid City leads a team of framers, drives custom framing sales, and delivers high-quality framing solutions for customers.

You will coach staff, manage inventory, and partner with the Store Manager to meet KPI targets while maintaining a safe, friendly shopping environment and supporting omni-channel processes.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers to build customer relationships and framing solutions.
• Drive custom framing sales and plan workload with Store Manager to meet KPIs.
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.
• Oversee inventory, shrink, safety programs, and truck unloading.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and support omni-channel processes.
