Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. Brick Township store is seeking a Store Lead to coach a framing team, build strong customer relationships, and drive custom framing sales. You will plan workload with the Store Manager and ensure on‑time delivery of framing solutions while maintaining store standards.

You will interview, onboard, coach and train team members; oversee inventory, safety programs, and Omni‑channel processes; serve as Manager on Duty and foster a positive, compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a framing team to build customer relationships and deliver framing solutions.
• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating framing plans.
• Assist Store Manager in SOP adherence and company program execution.
• Develop and coach team selling behaviors.
• Plan workload and ensure on-time delivery of framing projects.
• Manage inventory, shrink and safety programs, and store conditions.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and support talent development activities.
• Participate in interview, onboarding, and training of team members.
