Job summary

Michaels Great Hills is seeking a Store Lead to oversee a team of framers, driving custom framing projects and delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role partners with the Store Manager to ensure SOP compliance, trains team members, and manages daily operations including inventory, safety, and performance management.

The ideal candidate will have prior framing or retail management experience, strong leadership, and a customer‑focused mentality.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills are required.
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred.
• Retail management experience is preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers to build relationships with customers and create framing solutions.
• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in designing and selecting framing options.
• Assist Store Manager with SOPs, policies, and store standards to ensure compliance and performance.
• Plan workload with the Store Manager to meet KPIs and ensure timely delivery of framing projects.
• Manage inventory, shrink, and safety programs; serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Participate in interviewing, onboarding, training, and performance management of team members.
