Job summary

Michaels in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Store Lead to coach a team of framers who focus on building customer relationships while creating framing solutions for art projects. You will drive custom framing sales and assist customers in crafting memorable framing experiences.

You will partner with the Store Manager to enforce SOPs and company programs, develop and coach selling behaviors, plan workload to deliver framing solutions on time, manage inventory and shrink, serve as Manager on Duty,

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead on-time delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions for customers.
• Achieve KPI targets and manage the framing team to meet their KPIs.
• Review workload and plan sales floor time for networking and customer service.
• Manage inventory and shrink and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching and training of new team members.
