Job summary

Michaels is seeking a proactive Framing Team Lead to oversee our framing department. You will guide a team of framers, focus on delivering custom framing solutions, and drive sales by delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will work closely with Store Management to ensure SOP adherence, schedule workloads, and maintain store standards while coaching team members toward meeting KPIs. Nights and weekend shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.
• Retail management experience.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers focused on building customer relationships and delivering framing solutions.
• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating memorable framing solutions for their art.
• Assist the Store Manager in maintaining adherence to SOPs and company programs, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
• Maintain execution of company policies and standards, holding the team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Develop and coach the team on selling behaviors.
• Lead the delivery of high‑quality custom framing solutions on time by planning workload in partnership with the Store Manager.
