Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Lead for framing to drive custom framing sales and build strong customer relationships. You will lead a team of framers, coach selling behaviors, and partner with the Store Manager to plan workloads and ensure on-time delivery of framing solutions.

The role requires basic computer skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage through SOPs and company programs in a fast-paced retail environment. Availability for varied shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills are required.
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred.
• Retail management experience is preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs; ensure compliance and execution of policies.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time by planning workload with the Store Manager.
• Achieve KPIs and manage the framing team to achieve their KPI goals.
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training of new team members; participate in Performance Mgmt activities.
