Michaels in Bloomington is seeking a Store Lead to mentor a framing team and drive custom framing sales. You will partner with the Store Manager to uphold SOPs and company programs, while delivering high-quality framing solutions and excellent customer service.

The role emphasizes coaching, scheduling, and talent development, with a focus on meeting KPI targets and maintaining a safe, efficient store environment. Nights and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred
• Retail management experience
• Experience leading a sales team

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing SOPs and Company programs
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors
• Lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time
• Achieve KPIs and manage framing team KPI attainment
• Review sales and production workload and build plans and sales floor time
• Manage inventory and shrink/safety programs
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD)
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching and training of new team members
• Participate in Omni channel processes
• Acknowledge customers and provide product solutions
• Follow SOPs and Company programs and ensure a safe environment
