The Michaels Companies, Inc. is seeking a Store Lead in BLOOMINGTON, MN to guide a framers team, drive custom framing sales, and create memorable customer experiences. You will coach staff, manage daily operations, and ensure adherence to SOPs while delivering high-quality framing solutions.

Ideal candidates have retail management experience and a proven ability to lead a sales team, with emphasis on customer relationships and KPI achievement.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and Company programs and ensure policy compliance.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time.
• Achieve KPI targets and manage the framing team’s KPIs.
• Review workload, plan schedules, and allocate time for networking.
• Manage inventory and shrink/safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and participate in hiring/training tasks.
• Collaborate with MODs on framing expectations and processes.
• Promote a positive, respectful work environment and be a role model.
• Support truck unloading, stocking, and adherence to SOPs; assist Omni-channel processes.
