Job summary

Michaels Stores Lafayette, LA is seeking a Store Lead to guide a team of framers who focus on building customer relationships while delivering framing solutions. You will drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating memorable framing solutions.

You will develop and coach selling behaviors, oversee inventory and safety programs, and partner with the Store Manager to meet KPI targets while maintaining a welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Basic computer skills.
• Preferred: Previous custom framing experience.
• Preferred: Retail management experience.
• Preferred: Experience leading a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers to build customer relationships and provide framing solutions.
• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating memorable framing solutions.
• Develop and coach selling behaviours to improve KPI performance.
• Manage inventory, shrink, and safety programs; ensure SOP adherence and on‑time delivery of framing projects.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management of team members.
