Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Bloomington, MN seeks a Lead Framer/Store Team Leader to coach a framing team and drive custom framing sales while building strong customer relationships.

You will manage day-to-day framing operations, ensure on-time delivery of framing solutions, mentor staff, and uphold SOPs. The role requires flexibility with hours, including nights and weekends, and offers employee discounts and benefits.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred.
• Retail management experience is preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing SOPs and Company programs.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time.
• Achieve KPIs and manage framing team to achieve their KPIs.
• Review workload, plan floor time and networking for sales.
• Manage inventory and shrink/safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching and training.
• Partner with MODs on framing expectations.
• Interact respectfully with others and promote company values.
• Participate in truck unload and stocking processes.
• Follow SOPs and ensure a safe environment.
• Acknowledge customers and provide solutions.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
