Job summary

Summit, a brand of Elior North America, is seeking a Cook Supervisor for a correctional facility kitchen in Prince Frederick, MD. You will coordinate and supervise a team to ensure on-time meal service, maintain high quality, portion control and sanitation.

The role requires at least one year of culinary experience in a high-volume setting with scratch cooking and strong leadership. This onsite position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of culinary experience in a high-volume establishment with scratch cooking.
• Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Food Handlers certification preferred (nice-to-have).

Responsibilities

• Instruct and train employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation.
• Ensure meal services begin on time and portions, appearance, and temperature meet standards.
